2009 School Science Fair

There will be two Divisions; Junior High School Division and Senior High School
Division. Judging will be done during ENF’s Fall Eagle Fest, in the Ullsvik Center,
Univ, of Wis./Platteville on Nov. 7.
Awards for each division
First Place; $100 and a trophy (Student’s School gets a plaque and $50)
Second Place; $50
Third Place; $25
Fourth Place; $10
All school students, both public and private as well as home schooled students,
are eligible to enter the Science Fair. The is no limit as to what type of science
projects may be entered.
Rules:
1. Because the display area for the science fair is limited, only two entries for each
division may be entered from each school.
2. Entries must be postmarked or received electronically no later than October 26,
2009
3. Each student must have his or her entry set up at Eagle Fest before 10:00 am
Nov. 7.
4. Judging will be conducted from 10:00 to 1:00, so a student must be present to
explain his or her project to the public and the judges during this time.
5. Each entry will be judged by a minimum of three different judges.
6. Each display will be limited to 4 feet of table space, unless special permission
is received for more space .
7. Awards will be presented during the 2:00 pm Award Ceremony.
8. Students must personally be present during the award ceremony to receive their
award.
9. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
Scientific Accuracy
Creativity
Presentation
Science fair entries may be taken down any time after the award ceremony and
must be removed by 4:00 pm.
